Thursday 21 April 2016: some of this and some of that.

Our decorator of the week – Patti – came over, and we installed two new chairs and she showed us some of our new lighting.

Thursday usually means a concert at Severance Hall, today included.

We had dinner before the concert at the Michelson-Morley Restaurant on the CWRU campus.

As we were walking into Severance, we talked with the bar manager – Danni – a friend: a friend of a bar is a friend for far…

The concert consisted of: Polonia Overture; Wagner; Piano Concerto No. 2, Chopin; and Symphony No. 3, Beethoven.

The conductor was Antoni Wit; and the soloist Jan Lislecki.

After his performance, Jan sat in the box two over from ours.
