I trained at the gym – back and tris, and had my first physical therapy appointment – in Avon.
Then a Russian lesson with Daniil at Starbucks, and I carried in Chinese for dinner
I had an appointment with Dr. Shapiro concerning my hand – he operated on me 10 years ago.
Sharon and I went to cvs, where we recycled a gaggle of plastic bags, and scored drugs
I blogged free thought twice, & CL.
We had a lovely dance lesson with the lovely Julie – Foxtrot and Rumba, and then dinner at bar145
We traveled with son Allen, his wife Sarah, daughter Valerie and her husband Bill to Cancun for our annual winter break.
The cab ride to the airport was an adventure: bungy cord kept trunk closed, and driver was very Slow, but we made it on time.
Our plane was delayed for 3 hours for varied reasons, but we eventually took off, arrived at the airport in CanCun, and had a nice party limo ride in.
For our lodgings See:
Our rooms were three connected suites with balconies overlooking the beach and ocean.
There are a number of good restaurants in the complex, and our plan covered all food and drink.
Next to our high rises was an adults only area of smaller places connected to pools and bars…
So we checked out, our flight was on time, and by 5pm we were back home.
A good time was had by all.
I had a medical test – an EMG – at EMH, then we went to AT&T, and then had lunch at Bob Evan’s.
We had Dinner at Table 45, and then went over to Severance Hall for a concert.
The program Featured Sibelius’ Symphony No. 7, his Violin Concerto, and “Pelleas and Melisande”, by Arnold Schoenberg.
The violin soloist was Алина Ибрагимова – who was both brilliant and beautiful – ww.alinaibragimova.com
After her performance, she signed CD’s, and I spoke Russian with her. She said: “Your Russian is very good” (!!)
