Sunday 1 April 2012:A birthday celebration!

Today is my Wife’s Beatles (64th) birthday.

In the morning, I had a meeting with Mallory of  OFA on the Campaign.

At noon, we drove to Columbus to see our daughter and her husband.  In the afternoon, the ladies shopped at Easton

This shopping complex has almost everything, from the outdoor stroll by boutique shops to the major department stores to (off to the side), big boxes.

I read and had coffee while they did hunter gathering activity.

We had  dinner at due-amici in downtown Columbus.

At the ‘end of the day’, as they say, it was a nice birthday.

Monday 13 Feb 2012: Quality Time

Sharon is in Columbus.  I did a W/O at  gym, and then lunch at a Place Well Known to Me.

I stopped at Catherine’s Chocolates in Avon, where I bought a lb of covered strawberries for Sharon for VD, and then made a stop for quality time at a Starbucks.

In the evening, it was an ACLU board meeting in Oberlin.

Sat Dec 17, 2011: shopping and supper

I went to Crocker Park to do some holiday shopping, Sharon got back from Columbus, and we went out to dinner  at Johnny’s bar on Fulton with our friends Dave and Sherrie: quaint; busy; and pricey: not for claustrophobics on a budget.

Got back home in time to see the end of the OU victory (Sharon is an alum).

Monday 28 Nov 2011:Daughter departs; LAMP installed; and iPhone upgraded to 5.0

Sharon and I had lunch at the vintage cafe.

I worked on organizing in the garage, and got a new heater.
I installed LAMP on this system, and
updated the default web page.

Mon 17 Oct 2011:Columbus, Kiwanis, & Cocktails

The timing was good: we arrived 10 minutes after them, and ate lunch at the Cap City Grille – above see http://www.capcityfinediner.com/TheExperience.cfm

Sharon and I drove back to Avon Lake, and we observed that the Twelve Days of Valerie’s Wedding were over (6-17 Oct 2011).

We arrived home at 4:20 and at 5:30 I left to speak the North Olmsted Kiwanis on Issues 2 and 3.

I stopped for cocktails and conversation at a Place Well Known to Me.

Perusing Facebook in the late evening, I observed my daughter had changed her name: a transitional moment.
