I did some networking on our AU program coming, and saw old friends.

Sharon and I went to the Indians game, where as part of a crowd of 34,000 plus we saw:

o a walk-off home run in the 10th inning

o a fabulous fireworks show set to the music of

o the Beatles

Sharon and I went on a cruise in her Mini Cooper S Convertible.

We had a dance lesson at Avon Ballroom with Anya, and then came home, and grilled supper.

I studied Russian with Rosetta Stone, and then rode my exercycle for 20 minutes.

I made popcorn for us.

I went to our weekly Democrat lunch, where we discussed the banquet, and then I got an old watch fixed – new battery.

Back home, fed the birds.

We had dinner at Jake’s, where we ran into the Poplstein family.

We had a West side club meeting at ricks, and then at home, I studied Russian.

Sharon and I ate lunch at Red Robin, and shopped for food at Heinen’s.

In the evening, I went to an ACLU meeting at Oberlin, and then my loyal friend Ed Mayer came over, and we made some progress.

I took Sharon to Mitchells for Ice Cream in the evening, and we watched ‘Elementary’ on the TV.

My birthday present from Sharon was sport coats  & dress shirts, from JA Banks – also in River.

Later in the day, it was coffee at Caribou in the crowded Avon Commons, and then an early dinner at Cabin Club in Westlake.

Back home, we watched the Tribe game, and I continued my old tradition of exercising on my birthday by riding my bike for 20 minutes.

I started the process of temporary insurance for Sharon, and made reservations for Sunday.

We had lunch @ max and ermas in the Promanade, and wanted to cruise, but it rained.

I worked on Mini – interior.

Dinner was at Georgetown (was 3 birds) in Western Lakewood with Son Allen and his wife Sarah.

We ate at Table 45, and then went to a concert at Severance: Handel.

Weekly Dem lunch covered the elections.

In the afternoon, I worked on Mini, and then in the evening, I went to the CFI meeting at the (hardly next door) Mayfield Public Library, where we heard a talk on the Higgs from Prof. Mano Singham, of CWRU.
